About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead significant building projects in and around Leeds . This role is critical for ensuring that all construction projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process, from initial planning and design through to site management and final handover. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the construction industry and a proven track record of successful project delivery. This role offers a hybrid working model, blending site presence with essential office-based duties and remote work flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of the construction project lifecycle , from inception to completion.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation in coordination with site teams and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and quality standards on construction sites.
- Manage relationships with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor performance and address any issues.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in construction project management .
- Demonstrable experience managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Proficiency with construction project management software and scheduling tools.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
