About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organized and efficient Construction Site Administrator to support their projects in the Bristol area, operating on a hybrid basis. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the site management team, ensuring the smooth running of the site office. This includes managing documentation, coordinating site logistics, assisting with H&S paperwork, and acting as a key point of contact for site personnel and external visitors. This role is crucial for maintaining effective communication and administrative control on busy construction sites, requiring a proactive attitude and excellent multitasking skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all site documentation, including delivery notes, RFI's, and site instructions.
- Assist the site management team with the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence.
- Coordinate site logistics, including booking meeting rooms, arranging travel, and managing deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of site attendance, plant hire, and materials used.
- Support the Health and Safety Officer with administrative tasks related to safety documentation.
- Act as the first point of contact for queries from site personnel, clients, and subcontractors.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative or office management role, preferably within construction.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with construction site operations is a plus.
