About the Role
Our client is seeking a diligent Construction Site Engineer to join a key project in Liverpool . In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential technical support on-site, ensuring that construction activities are carried out according to design specifications and quality standards. You will play a crucial part in managing setting-out, surveying, and quality control, working closely with the site management team and subcontractors. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the successful delivery of significant infrastructure projects in the North West region.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake setting-out operations and surveying duties using the latest equipment and techniques.
- Ensure construction work complies with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Assist in the planning and programming of site activities.
- Monitor site progress and report on any deviations from the plan.
- Maintain site records, including daily reports, quality checks, and measurement records.
- Liaise with subcontractors to resolve technical queries and ensure smooth execution of works.
Requirements
- Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or a related construction discipline.
- Experience as a Site Engineer or Graduate Engineer on construction projects.
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as total stations and GPS.
- Understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations on construction sites.
