About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly competent and experienced Construction Site Manager to lead a key project in Norwich . This role is integral to the successful execution of construction works, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, including planning, coordinating resources, supervising teams, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities to ensure project objectives are met.
• Develop and implement site-specific safety plans, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, direct labour, and suppliers effectively.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure the quality of workmanship and materials meets project specifications and standards.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, progress updates, and safety documentation.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients to ensure clear communication and problem resolution.

Requirements

• Significant experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, programming, and health and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret complex architectural and engineering drawings.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS card) are essential.
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality construction projects in the Norwich area.
