About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Site Manager to oversee projects across the Berkshire region, operating in a fully remote capacity. This is a crucial role responsible for the day-to-day management of construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead and coordinate all site activities, manage subcontractors, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
• Implement and enforce stringent health and safety protocols, conducting regular site inspections remotely or via designated personnel.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and labour, ensuring efficient resource allocation and performance.
• Monitor project progress against the schedule, identifying and resolving any issues or delays promptly.
• Ensure quality control measures are in place and adhered to throughout the construction process.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, accident logs, and progress updates.

Requirements

• Proven track record as a Construction Site Manager with experience in managing diverse projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant construction management qualification (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS card).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in using digital tools for remote site management and reporting.
