About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Construction Site Manager to oversee operations for a new development in Sheffield . This hands-on role requires strong leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, coordinating trades, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and liaising with stakeholders to achieve project objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to the project plan and schedule.
• Implement and enforce rigorous health and safety policies, conducting regular site inductions and inspections.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel, ensuring efficient workflow and performance.
• Maintain high standards of quality control throughout the construction process.
• Oversee site logistics, including material procurement and equipment management.
• Act as the primary point of contact for site-related matters, communicating effectively with project managers and clients.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience as a Construction Site Manager , with a successful history of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• In-depth knowledge of construction techniques, building regulations, and health & safety legislation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Relevant construction qualification (e.g., SMSTS, NVQ Level 4/5 in Construction Site Management).
• Proficiency in using project management and site management tools.
