About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and organised Construction Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations on various construction sites in the Nottingham area. You will be responsible for ensuring that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards. This role involves direct supervision of site personnel, coordination of activities, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Play a vital role in the successful execution of construction projects, contributing to the company's reputation for quality and reliability in the East Midlands.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the work of site operatives and subcontractors.
• Ensure all site activities comply with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor the quality of workmanship and materials used.
• Maintain site records, including daily logs and progress reports.
• Manage site logistics, including material delivery and equipment deployment.
• Promote a positive and safe working culture on site.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor, Foreman, or similar role in construction.
• Good knowledge of construction methods and best practices.
• Awareness of health and safety legislation and site safety procedures.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a team and resolve on-site issues effectively.
