Construction Site Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is looking for a proactive and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations on construction sites in and around Nottingham . You will be responsible for directing and supervising on-site personnel, ensuring that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards. This role requires a hands-on approach, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of construction practices and site management. You will be a key point of contact for site teams, ensuring smooth progress and adherence to project plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct site personnel, including labourers and tradespeople.
• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with project plans, specifications, and safety guidelines.
• Monitor daily site activities, managing resources and ensuring efficient progress.
• Maintain a safe working environment, enforcing safety protocols and conducting daily safety checks.
• Report on site progress, issues, and resource requirements to the Site Manager.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Construction Site Supervisor or Foreman.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Relevant site safety certifications (e.g., CSCS card) are essential.
