Construction Site Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is looking for a proactive and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations on their building sites in and around Wolverhampton . This hybrid role requires a hands-on approach, blending on-site supervision with remote coordination and reporting. You will be responsible for managing tradespeople, ensuring work progresses according to plan, maintaining quality standards, and upholding safety regulations. Your leadership on site, coupled with effective remote communication, will be crucial in driving project efficiency and ensuring successful project delivery while fostering a collaborative and safe working environment for all team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities and manage site personnel effectively.
• Ensure work is completed according to project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Implement and enforce health and safety regulations on site.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor site progress and report on daily activities and any potential issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite, ensuring materials and equipment are managed efficiently.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or Foreman.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of health and safety best practices on construction sites.
• Willingness to work on-site and communicate effectively remotely when needed.
