Construction Site Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is actively recruiting for a dedicated Construction Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations at project sites in and around Reading . This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage site personnel, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and maintain high standards of workmanship. You will be the frontline supervisor, responsible for the efficient execution of construction tasks and the smooth running of the site. This is a demanding but rewarding role for someone looking to progress their career in construction supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction crews and tradespeople.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with project plans, schedules, and specifications.
• Implement and enforce all health and safety policies and procedures on site.
• Manage the flow of materials and equipment to the site.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety briefings with the site team.
• Report progress, issues, and safety concerns to the Site Manager promptly.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Site Supervisor or Foreman in the construction industry.
• Solid understanding of construction site management and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, motivational, and communication skills .
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and safety documents.
• Hold a valid CSCS card and relevant safety certifications.
• Physically fit and capable of working in demanding site conditions.
