Construction Site Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Construction Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations on construction sites in Bradford . You will be responsible for ensuring that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. This role requires hands-on leadership, the ability to motivate teams, and a keen eye for quality and compliance. You will act as the direct link between site personnel and project management, playing a vital role in maintaining productivity and upholding safety standards across various projects in West Yorkshire .

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise daily activities of construction workers and subcontractors on site.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor site safety compliance, conduct toolbox talks, and report any safety concerns or incidents immediately.
• Maintain site records, including daily progress reports, material logs, and attendance records.
• Coordinate material deliveries and equipment usage to ensure efficient site operations.
• Identify and report any deviations from the project plan or potential site issues to the Project Manager.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction techniques, safety regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• First Aid and relevant safety certifications (e.g., CSCS card) are essential.
• Organised and proactive approach to managing site operations in Bradford .
