Our client, a leading player in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is seeking an analytical and curious Consumer Insights Analyst to join their marketing team based in Nottingham . This role is crucial for understanding consumer behavior, market trends, and brand perception to inform strategic decision-making across the business. You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting diverse data sources to uncover actionable insights that drive product innovation, marketing strategies, and overall business growth. Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage consumer research projects, including surveys, focus groups, and qualitative studies.
- Analyze sales data, market share reports, and third-party research to identify key trends and opportunities.
- Translate complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights for marketing, brand, and product development teams.
- Monitor consumer sentiment and brand perception through social listening and media analysis.
- Develop compelling presentations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consumer insights are integrated into strategic planning and decision-making processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Psychology, Sociology, or a related quantitative field.
- 2-5 years of experience in consumer insights, market research, or analytics, preferably within the FMCG industry .
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SPSS, R, SQL, advanced Excel).
- Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tell compelling stories with data.
