About the Role
Our client is looking for a data-driven and insightful Consumer Insights Analyst to join their dynamic team, supporting their significant FMCG portfolio from Glasgow . This remote-first position focuses on uncovering deep consumer understanding through rigorous analysis of market data, shopper behavior, and qualitative research. Your findings will be instrumental in shaping brand strategies, product innovation, and marketing communications, ensuring our client remains at the forefront of consumer needs and preferences. Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research projects to understand consumer attitudes, behaviors, and unmet needs.
- Analyze diverse data sources, including sales data, market share reports, survey results, and social listening, to identify key trends and insights.
- Translate complex data into clear, compelling, and actionable insights for marketing, brand, and product development teams.
- Develop regular reports and presentations summarizing consumer insights and their implications for business strategy.
- Collaborate with brand teams to integrate consumer insights into brand planning, campaign development, and product innovation processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Psychology, Sociology, Statistics, or a related quantitative or social science field.
- 3-5 years of experience in consumer insights, market research, or analytics, ideally within the FMCG sector.
- Proficiency with quantitative research methodologies and statistical analysis techniques.
- Experience with data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, Excel) and market research tools (e.g., Nielsen, IRI).
- Strong storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex findings to non-expert audiences.
