About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced and strategic Content Marketing Manager to lead content initiatives from anywhere in the UK, with a focus on driving engagement and thought leadership. You will be responsible for developing and executing a robust content strategy that aligns with business objectives, attracts and retains target audiences, and supports the sales funnel. This remote role requires a skilled storyteller, editor, and strategist with a deep understanding of content performance metrics and audience engagement. You will collaborate with various internal teams, external agencies, and subject matter experts to create high-impact content across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with overall business and marketing goals.
- Oversee the creation, editing, and publishing of high-quality content, including blog posts, articles, whitepapers, case studies, social media updates, and video scripts.
- Conduct keyword research and employ SEO best practices to increase organic visibility and drive website traffic.
- Analyze content performance using analytics tools and provide insights to optimize content strategy and tactics.
- Manage the editorial calendar, ensuring a consistent flow of engaging content across all channels.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure content supports lead generation and customer engagement efforts.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Content Marketing Manager or similar strategic content role.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing content strategies that drive measurable results.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a strong portfolio of published content.
- Proficiency in SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
