About the Role
Our client is seeking a creative and analytical Content Strategist to join their vibrant marketing team in Newcastle upon Tyne . You will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing content strategies that drive engagement, build brand awareness, and support marketing objectives across various digital channels. This role requires a deep understanding of audience segmentation, SEO best practices, and content performance metrics to inform and optimize future content initiatives. You will collaborate closely with designers, writers, and marketing specialists to create compelling narratives that resonate with our target audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive content calendar aligned with marketing campaigns and business goals.
- Conduct audience research and competitive analysis to identify content opportunities.
- Create and oversee the production of engaging content, including blog posts, social media updates, website copy, and email newsletters.
- Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve organic visibility and traffic.
- Analyze content performance using analytics tools and provide actionable insights for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and messaging across all platforms.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Content Strategist , Content Marketer, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of content management systems (CMS) and digital marketing tools.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience with SEO principles and content optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to measure content effectiveness.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment and manage multiple projects.
