Content Strategist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a forward-thinking and creative Content Strategist to develop and execute their overarching content plan. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere within the UK. You will be responsible for defining content goals, identifying target audiences, and overseeing the creation and distribution of valuable, relevant, and consistent content across all relevant platforms. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills and a deep understanding of how content drives business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive content strategy aligned with marketing goals and brand identity.
• Conduct audience research and identify content needs and opportunities across different customer segments.
• Define content pillars, themes, and formats to guide content creation efforts.
• Oversee the editorial calendar, ensuring timely publication of high-quality content across various channels (website, blog, social media, email).
• Collaborate with content creators, designers, and subject matter experts to produce compelling and effective content.
• Measure and analyze content performance, using data to inform future strategy and optimize engagement.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Content Strategist , Content Marketing Manager, or similar role.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful content strategies that drive engagement and conversions.
• Excellent understanding of content management systems (CMS), SEO best practices, and digital marketing principles.
• Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Experience with content performance analysis and reporting tools.
