About the Role
Our client seeks a highly motivated Continuous Improvement Engineer for a remote contract role, supporting operations in Leeds . You will be instrumental in driving process optimization initiatives across the organisation, leveraging data analysis and Lean Six Sigma methodologies. This position is ideal for a proactive engineer who excels at identifying opportunities for efficiency gains and implementing sustainable solutions from a distance, contributing significantly to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects focused on enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving quality.
- Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to identify trends, root causes of problems, and areas for optimization.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices.
- Conduct remote workshops and training sessions on Lean and Six Sigma principles.
- Track project progress and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with remote teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption of process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Business Administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience (3+ years) in a continuous improvement, process engineering, or Lean Six Sigma role.
- Strong understanding of Lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies (certification is a plus).
- Proficiency with data analysis software and collaboration tools for remote work.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
