Contracts Manager – Glazing & Facades Brighton Head Office | Southcoat projects Permanent Up to £65,000 + Company Car Our client is a well established, commercial glazing contractor delivering window and door replacement programmes and commercial glazing packages for housing associations, local authorities, main contractors and developers across the South East. They work across multiple frameworks and commercial contracts simultaneously and are expanding their contracts management team to match our growing pipeline. They are seeking a Contracts Manager who will raise the bar — not just maintain it. You will take full ownership of contracts from the moment a job is won through to final completion and sign-off. You will manage programmes, client relationships, supply chain, install teams and commercial performance across a portfolio of contracts in the South East.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of your contracts — programme, procurement, installation management, snagging and completion
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients on all operational and commercial matters
• Manage and coordinate installation teams, subcontractors and supply chain
• Monitor programme and budget performance across all live jobs — flag risks early and resolve them
• Ensure all variations are identified, priced, approved and captured on time
• Provide accurate data for applications for payment
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records on our project management system
• Produce and issue RAMS, pre-start documentation and site reporting
• Report directly to the directors on programme performance and commercial position

About You

We're looking for someone who has experience delivering glazing, façade or fenestration projects and is comfortable managing several projects simultaneously. You'll ideally have:

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within commercial construction, glazing, fenestration or a related discipline
• Strong track record of managing multiple contracts simultaneously to programme and budget
• Experience working on framework contracts, housing association or local authority programmes — highly desirable
• Commercially sharp — able to manage budgets, identify variations and protect margin
• Meticulous and highly organised — this role demands exceptional attention to detail
• A self-starter who takes ownership and does not need to be micromanaged
• Excellent communicator — confident with clients, install teams and supply chain alike
• Full UK driving licence — essential
• CSCS card — essential
• SMSTS or equivalent — desirable What's on Offer?
