About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Control Systems Electrical Engineer to enhance their industrial operations in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is critical for the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated control systems that drive efficiency and precision in manufacturing processes. You will work with PLCs, SCADA systems, and advanced instrumentation to ensure optimal performance and reliability of complex machinery. Key Responsibilities

Design, program, and commission PLC-based control systems for industrial machinery.
Develop and integrate SCADA and HMI interfaces for process monitoring and control.
Specify and select appropriate instrumentation, sensors, and actuators for control applications.
Collaborate with mechanical and production teams to ensure seamless integration of control solutions.
Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on control systems to resolve issues promptly.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for control systems, including P&IDs and logic diagrams.

Requirements

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
Proven experience in designing and implementing industrial control systems using PLCs (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000).
Familiarity with SCADA systems (e.g., Wonderware, Ignition) and HMI development.
Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols and communication standards.
Knowledge of process control theory and servo system tuning.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
