About the Role

Our client is seeking a driven Corporate Finance Analyst to join their team in Reading . This role is integral to supporting the company's strategic financial initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, capital investments, and financial planning. You will conduct in-depth financial analysis, build complex financial models, and provide critical insights to inform executive decision-making. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models for valuation, forecasting, and strategic analysis.
• Perform due diligence for potential mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, board presentations, and investment committee materials.
• Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify strategic opportunities and risks.
• Support capital raising activities and manage relationships with financial institutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
• 2-5 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or a related analytical role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis techniques.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and valuation methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
