About the Role
Our client is seeking a motivated and relationship-focused Corporate Partnerships Executive to join their team in Reading . This role is instrumental in cultivating and managing strategic partnerships with businesses, driving income through corporate support, employee engagement, and sponsorship opportunities. You will be responsible for identifying potential partners, developing compelling proposals, and nurturing mutually beneficial relationships that support our client's vital work. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and networking skills, and a passion for aligning business objectives with social impact, making a significant contribution within the Berkshire area.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect potential corporate partners aligned with our client's mission and values.
- Develop and deliver persuasive proposals and presentations for corporate sponsorship, fundraising events, and employee engagement programmes.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing corporate partners, ensuring high levels of engagement and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create bespoke partnership opportunities that meet partner objectives and maximise fundraising potential.
- Represent the organisation at business and networking events to promote partnerships and raise our profile.
- Track partnership activities, manage associated budgets, and report on progress towards income targets.
Requirements
- Proven experience in corporate fundraising, business development, or account management, preferably within the charity sector.
- Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong understanding of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and the drivers of corporate support.
- Demonstrated success in securing new business or partnerships and achieving targets.
- Proficiency in CRM systems for managing prospect and partner data.
