About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Corporate Partnerships Officer to enhance their fundraising efforts in Newcastle upon Tyne . This role is crucial for developing and nurturing mutually beneficial relationships with businesses, securing vital corporate support through sponsorships, payroll giving, and employee engagement activities. You will play a key part in increasing the financial sustainability of the charity, enabling it to expand its services. The ideal candidate is a proactive relationship builder with a keen understanding of the corporate sector and a passion for social impact, working from a flexible hybrid model.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and secure new corporate partnerships and sponsorships.
• Manage and grow existing corporate relationships, ensuring high levels of engagement and retention.
• Develop and deliver compelling proposals and presentations tailored to potential corporate partners.
• Coordinate employee fundraising and volunteering opportunities with partner companies.
• Organise and execute corporate fundraising events and challenge days.
• Track and report on the progress and financial performance of corporate partnerships.

Requirements

• Experience in corporate fundraising , business development, or account management, preferably within the charity sector.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and partnership principles.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid working environment.
• Proficiency in CRM databases and Microsoft Office Suite.
