Corporate Private Equity Solicitor | 2–6 PQE | London

We’re working with a leading international law firm looking to grow its Corporate Private Equity team in London.

This is a great opportunity to work on headline matters within a growing practice, with plenty of partner contact, client exposure and responsibility.

Candidate requirements:

• Approximately 2–6 years’ PQE in corporate law
• Strong private equity and private M&A experience
• Experience gained at a leading City, international or US law firm
• Confidence drafting and negotiating key transaction documents
• Experience managing deal workstreams and working directly with clients
• Strong technical ability, commercial judgement and attention to detail
• A collaborative and proactive approach

The role will involve:

• Leveraged buyouts, acquisitions and disposals
• Private M&A and cross-border transactions
• Minority and growth investments
• Co-investments, joint ventures and structured equity arrangements
• Management incentive plans
• Drafting and negotiating SPAs, shareholders’ agreements and other key transaction documents
• Coordinating international and multidisciplinary deal teams
