Cover Supervisor – Flexible Secondary Roles (Erdington) – October 2026
Zest Education is recruiting reliable Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in Erdington from October 2026. These roles offer both part‑time and full‑time flexibility, making them ideal for graduates or early‑career professionals exploring a future in education.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task and engaged with pre‑prepared work. You’ll gain valuable classroom experience while building strong relationships with local schools — with many placements leading to long‑term or permanent opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise lessons across a variety of subjects using pre‑set work
- Maintain a calm, productive learning environment
- Manage behaviour in line with school policies
- Support students with tasks and encourage positive engagement
- Report back to teaching staff on lesson progress and behaviour
What We’re Looking For

- Graduates from the last three years (any subject)
- Prior experience or current experience as a Cover Supervisor
- Confident communicators with strong organisation skills
