Cover Supervisor - Secondary School Full Time | Term Time Only | Immediate Start Up to £145 per day | Long-Term Role

Long Term Futures are recruiting an experienced and confident Cover Supervisor to join a mainstream secondary school, providing classroom cover across KS3 and KS4.

This is a long-term Cover Supervisor position, rather than day-to-day supply. You will supervise pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects, ensuring students remain focused, complete the work set and maintain high standards of behaviour.

Excellent behaviour management is essential. The role would be particularly well suited to a qualified teacher looking for a non-planning role, an experienced HLTA ready to step up, or an established Cover Supervisor looking for greater stability.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise classes across KS3 and KS4 Provide cover across a range of secondary subjects Deliver work that has been prepared by the class teacher Maintain excellent classroom behaviour and clear expectations Ensure students remain engaged and complete the work set Manage challenging behaviour confidently and consistently Follow the school's behaviour and safeguarding policies Provide feedback to teaching staff following lessons Build positive relationships with pupils and staff across the schoolIdeal Candidate Will Have:

Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills - essential Previous experience working with secondary aged students Confidence leading a full classroom independently Experience across KS3 and KS4 Ability to quickly establish boundaries and expectations Strong communication and organisational skills Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor, HLTA or Teacher would be highly advantageousParticularly Suitable For:
