Job Description
Kilnbridge is hiring experienced Crane Supervisors to join our team on a 12 month infrastructure project at Heathrow Airport. This is an excellent opportunity for competent Crane Supervisors to join a progressive contractor delivering on a major UK project. Position: Crane Supervisors Location: Heathrow Airport Duration: 12 months Status: PAYE Pay rate: £25 Per hour Hours: 47.5 hrs/week (paid) Days: Monday - Friday Weekends: At the managers discretion Daily Start: 07:30 Daily Finish: 17:30 Available onsite parking: No Start: ASAP Crane Supervisors Responsibilities:
- Suitable Crane Supervisors must be present and active during all lifting operations, making sure the team follows the designated lifting plan or RAMS
- Suitable Crane Supervisors must be able to direct crane operators, slinger-signallers, and lead safety briefings or toolbox talks before operations begin
- Suitable Crane Supervisors must check that ground conditions are safe verify equipment inspection dates, and set up exclusion zones
- Suitable Crane Supervisors must maintain clear communication between the lifting team and site management
- Report lifting related hazards, defects and incidents promptly
- Work closely with the Appointed Person to ensure lifting operations are executed as planned Crane Supervisors Requirements:
- CPCS A62 - ALL DUTIES or NPORS N405 - ALL DUTIES
- Must have an in date SSSTS Certificate
- Must have an in date Safety Critical Medical Certificate - SEQOHS accredited
- Must have a good understanding of lift plans, RAMS amd safe systems of work
- Must have good communication and leadership skills
- Must have the ability to identify unsafe lifting conditions and stop operations where necessary
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK
- Must be happy to undergo Criminal Record checks
- Must be able to provide proof of address
- Must be able to provide 5 year address history
