Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess the credit risk of new and existing clients.
- Make recommendations on credit applications, including setting appropriate credit limits and terms.
- Monitor the credit portfolio, identify deteriorating credits, and implement early warning strategies.
- Develop and maintain credit risk models and scoring systems.
- Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Prepare regular reports on credit portfolio performance and risk exposures for senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 2-4 years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or a similar role within the banking industry.
- Strong understanding of financial statement analysis, credit scoring, and risk assessment techniques.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Excel, SQL).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
