Managing a varied criminal caseload from initial instruction through to conclusion, including Police Station, Magistrates' Court and Crown Court work. Preparing case documentation, proofs of evidence and applications, and instructing counsel where appropriate. Supporting and supervising junior colleagues, with the opportunity to develop your management and leadership skills as the team grows. About You

Current Duty Solicitor status and Police Station Accreditation. Strong experience in criminal defence, with solid advocacy and case management skills. Commercially aware, proactive and motivated to contribute to the growth of a new office. Ambitious and keen to develop their leadership and management experience. Previous management or supervisory experience would be advantageous, but is not essential.
