About the Role

Our client, a dynamic player in the Crypto & Blockchain market, is seeking a skilled and analytical Cryptocurrency Trader to join their trading desk in Bristol . You will be responsible for executing trades, managing risk, and developing profitable trading strategies across a range of digital assets. This role requires a deep understanding of market dynamics, quantitative analysis, and a keen eye for opportunity in the volatile cryptocurrency landscape. You will work closely with a team of experienced traders and analysts, contributing to the firm's investment performance and decision-making processes. Key Responsibilities

• Execute high-frequency and day trading strategies for various cryptocurrencies.
• Monitor market trends, news, and sentiment to identify trading opportunities.
• Manage and mitigate trading risks effectively, adhering to risk management protocols.
• Analyze market data, technical indicators, and chart patterns to inform trading decisions.
• Develop and refine quantitative trading models and algorithms.
• Collaborate with the research team to stay informed about market developments and new asset classes.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in trading, preferably within cryptocurrency or financial markets.
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets , blockchain technology, and trading platforms.
• Proficiency in technical analysis and quantitative modeling.
• Demonstrated ability to manage risk and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with trading APIs and algorithmic trading is a plus.
