About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent Cryptocurrency Compliance Officer to join their team in Bristol . In this hybrid role, you will be at the forefront of ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements within the Crypto & Blockchain industry. You will develop and implement compliance frameworks, conduct risk assessments, and oversee anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) processes. This position is vital for maintaining the company's integrity and navigating the complex regulatory landscape of digital assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance programs for cryptocurrency operations.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential regulatory and compliance issues.
• Oversee and manage AML/KYC procedures for customer onboarding and transaction monitoring.
• Stay abreast of evolving regulations and legal requirements affecting the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and internal/external auditors to ensure compliance and respond to inquiries.

Requirements

• Proven experience in compliance, risk management, or legal roles, preferably within the financial services or cryptocurrency sector.
• In-depth knowledge of AML, KYC, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency markets.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret complex regulations and apply them to business operations in Bristol .
