Customer Service Administrator Location: Bournemouth Salary: £26,000 DOE Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday Working hours: 8:00am–4:30pm or 8:30am–5:00pm
Tru Talent is delighted to be working with a well-established and growing waste management company in Bournemouth, who are looking for an experienced Customer Service Administrator to join their team.
This is a varied and important role, combining customer service, administration and coordination to help ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and confident communicating with customers, suppliers and internal teams. You’ll be a strong team player who is also comfortable using your own initiative and taking ownership of tasks.
As a Customer Service Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
Handling operational calls professionally and efficiently Building strong relationships with customers and suppliers Managing customer accounts and dealing with queries Processing orders and liaising with suppliers Advising customers on commercial and domestic waste services Supporting customer accounts and processing payments Managing contractor pricing and purchase orders Assisting with new site set-ups Keeping internal systems and records accurate and up to date Communicating important information across different teams Resolving customer queries and issues promptly and effectively Providing general administrative support to the Customer Service team Supporting other departments when required To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Previous experience in a customer service and administration role Hospitality experience will also be considered Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail A confident and professional telephone manner Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word The ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks A proactive approach with the ability to work independently Previous experience within the waste management or construction industry would be preferred, but is not essential Click ‘Apply Now’ to take the next step in your career.
