About the Role
Our client is seeking a diligent Cyber Security Analyst to join their growing security team in Bradford . In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring security systems, detecting and analyzing threats, and supporting incident response activities. You will play a key role in protecting the organization's information assets from cyber-attacks and ensuring the security of its IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events from various security tools, including SIEM and IDS/IPS.
- Analyze potential security threats and vulnerabilities, escalating as needed.
- Assist in the incident response process , including containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Perform regular security assessments and report findings to management.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of security controls and technologies.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and vulnerabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a cyber security or IT security role.
- Familiarity with security monitoring tools (e.g., SIEM, antivirus, firewalls).
- Understanding of common cyber threats and attack vectors.
- Basic knowledge of network protocols and operating systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
