Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain security infrastructure, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint security solutions.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability scans, analysing results and recommending remediation actions.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents, providing timely and effective resolution.
- Develop and manage security policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Collaborate with IT operations teams to ensure secure system configurations and deployments.
- Automate security tasks and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in cyber security engineering or operations.
- Proficiency with network security technologies and protocols.
- Experience with cloud security concepts (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
