About the Role

Our client is seeking a vigilant and proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to join their dedicated security team in Derby . This role is essential for safeguarding the company's digital assets, identifying potential threats, and implementing robust security measures. You will be responsible for monitoring security systems, investigating incidents, and contributing to the development and enforcement of cybersecurity policies. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and update cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles.
• Knowledge of security principles, network protocols, and common attack vectors.
• Familiarity with security tools and technologies.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail essential for security analysis in Derby .
