Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events from various sources, investigating potential security incidents and breaches.
• Respond to and manage security incidents, including containment, eradication, and recovery phases.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address security weaknesses.
• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and controls to protect information assets.
• Stay current with the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies, providing proactive recommendations.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of system design and operation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a cybersecurity or information security role.
• Proficiency in security monitoring tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS), endpoint protection, and vulnerability management solutions.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems security, and common attack vectors.
• Experience with incident response procedures and forensic analysis is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and effectively in a fully remote environment.
