Our client is seeking an accomplished Cybersecurity Consultant to provide expert advisory services and strategic guidance on an independent contractor basis, offering the convenience of remote work from Stoke-on-Trent . You will work with a variety of businesses, helping them navigate complex security challenges and implement best practices. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive security assessments, including vulnerability analysis and penetration testing, for clients.
• Develop and present detailed reports outlining security risks, threats, and recommended mitigation strategies.
• Advise clients on the implementation of security controls, policies, and best practices relevant to their specific needs.
• Assist clients in developing and refining their incident response plans and business continuity strategies.
• Stay current with emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to provide cutting-edge advice.
• Collaborate effectively with client IT teams and stakeholders to ensure successful security project delivery.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (5+ years) as a Cybersecurity Consultant or in a similar advisory role.
• Proven expertise in various cybersecurity domains, including network security, cloud security, application security, and data protection.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or OSCP are highly desirable.
