Damp and Mould Operative
Job Type: Permanent, Full‑time

Location: South East London
Salary: £38,000
Responsibilities
- Identify and treat damp and mould issues across residential properties.
- Carry out inspections to assess the extent of damage and recommend effective solutions.
- Apply specialised mould treatments and ensure correct ventilation solutions are installed.
- Repair affected surfaces, including painting and decorating, to restore the property to a safe and habitable condition.
- Complete internal and external painting and decorating as part of the mould treatment and property maintenance process.
- Work alongside other maintenance teams to address underlying causes of damp, such as leaks or poor insulation.
- Provide professional advice to tenants regarding the prevention and management of damp and mould.
- Complete work to a high standard, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Use a PDA system to receive job updates, document materials used, and report completed tasks.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (manual).
