About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Data Manager to join their clinical trials team in Oxford . You will be responsible for the design, development, and management of clinical databases, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of clinical trial data. This hybrid role requires a meticulous approach and a strong understanding of data management principles within the pharmaceutical industry, crucial for supporting the successful execution of research studies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain clinical trial databases in compliance with ICH-GCP and industry standards.
- Develop database specifications, edit checks, and data validation plans.
- Oversee the collection, cleaning, and reconciliation of clinical trial data from multiple sites.
- Generate data management reports and participate in data review meetings.
- Ensure the security and confidentiality of all clinical trial data.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or IT discipline.
- Proven experience as a Clinical Data Manager or in a similar data management role within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Proficiency with Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems (e.g., Medidata Rave, Oracle Clinical).
- Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in managing complex datasets.
