Data Scientist - AI Specialization

About the Role

Our client is looking for a talented and analytical Data Scientist with a specialization in AI to join their team based in Cardiff . You will play a crucial role in extracting valuable insights from complex datasets, building predictive models, and developing innovative AI solutions to drive business growth. This is an on-site position where you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development and business intelligence, to leverage data-driven decision-making. The role is integral to advancing our client's capabilities within the AI & Emerging Technologies sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models for prediction, classification, and clustering.
• Design and conduct A/B tests and experiments to evaluate AI model performance.
• Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science and AI methodologies.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist.
• Proficiency in Python or R, and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, experimental design, and data visualization techniques.
