Data Scientist - NLP Focus

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and analytical Data Scientist with a strong focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP) to contribute to their cutting-edge projects in Manchester . You will be responsible for extracting insights from unstructured text data, developing sophisticated NLP models for tasks such as sentiment analysis, text summarization, and machine translation, and collaborating with product teams to enhance user experience through intelligent language understanding. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Linguistics, Data Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in data science, with a specialization in NLP.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with NLP libraries such as NLTK, spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers.
• Experience with machine learning techniques and frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Demonstrated ability to handle large datasets and perform complex data analysis.
