About the Role

Our client is seeking an analytical and insightful Data Scientist to join their growing data team in the historic city of Oxford . You will be responsible for extracting valuable insights from complex datasets, developing predictive models, and communicating findings to stakeholders to drive data-informed decision-making. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources.
• Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to identify trends and make predictions.
• Analyze data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to business stakeholders.
• Design and conduct A/B tests and experiments to evaluate the impact of new strategies.
• Visualize data and present findings clearly and concisely through reports and presentations.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytical role.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data science, such as Python or R, and relevant libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling , machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques.
• Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Matplotlib).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences in Oxford .
