About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and innovative Data Scientist to join their advanced analytics team in Oxford . This role involves developing sophisticated statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and predictive analytics solutions to tackle complex business challenges. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems.
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Build and deploy predictive models for forecasting, classification, and optimization.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate data science solutions into production systems.
Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in Data Science or a similar analytical role.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with data science libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning techniques, and data mining principles.
- Experience with database technologies and data visualization tools.
