About the Role

Our client is looking for a talented and innovative Decentralized Finance (DeFi) Developer to join their cutting-edge team in Glasgow . You will be at the forefront of creating novel financial products and services powered by blockchain technology within the exciting Crypto & Blockchain sector. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying smart contracts, dApps, and protocols that enable decentralized lending, borrowing, trading, and more. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy secure and efficient smart contracts for DeFi applications (e.g., DEXs, lending protocols, yield farming).
• Design and implement tokenomics models and associated smart contract logic.
• Integrate blockchain protocols with external data sources and APIs.
• Conduct performance testing and optimization of DeFi protocols to ensure scalability and low transaction costs.
• Collaborate with product teams to translate DeFi concepts into functional and user-friendly applications.

Requirements

• Proven experience in developing and deploying DeFi protocols and smart contracts using Solidity.
• Strong understanding of DeFi principles, including AMMs, lending protocols, and token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721).
• Familiarity with blockchain infrastructure, wallets, and relevant developer tools (e.g., Hardhat, Truffle).
• Experience with security best practices for smart contract development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving industry.
