About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative DeFi Protocol Engineer to join their fully remote team. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop core smart contracts for DeFi protocols, including lending, borrowing, and automated market makers.
• Implement robust tokenomics and incentive mechanisms within protocols.
• Conduct thorough security audits and code reviews for smart contracts to ensure safety and prevent exploits.
• Collaborate with front-end teams to integrate protocols with user-friendly interfaces.
• Research and stay updated on the latest DeFi trends, innovations, and security best practices.
• Optimize smart contract performance for gas efficiency and scalability in a remote -first development environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in developing and deploying smart contracts, with a strong focus on DeFi applications.
• Expertise in Solidity and a deep understanding of Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) intricacies.
• Knowledge of various DeFi protocols (e.g., Aave, Uniswap, Compound) and their underlying mechanisms.
• Experience with smart contract security best practices and audit methodologies.
• Familiarity with token standards (e.g., ERC-20, ERC-721) and yield farming strategies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fully remote , collaborative setting.
