Delivery Driver - Courier Services

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver to join their expanding courier services team in Coventry . This position involves the efficient and safe transportation of parcels and goods to residential and business addresses. You will play a key role in meeting delivery targets and ensuring customer satisfaction through punctual and reliable service. The ideal candidate will be organized, customer-focused, and possess excellent driving skills, contributing to the operational success of our client's delivery network within the West Midlands .

Key Responsibilities

• Perform timely collections and deliveries of packages and goods.
• Adhere strictly to delivery schedules and optimal route planning.
• Ensure all delivered items are handled with care and remain in pristine condition.
• Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned delivery vehicle.
• Scan and track packages accurately using handheld devices.
• Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions.

Requirements

• Valid UK driving license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in a delivery driver or courier role is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of the Coventry area and surrounding road networks.
• Ability to lift and carry packages, sometimes up to a certain weight limit.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently.
