You will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods to various customer locations within the designated delivery area. Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial addresses.
• Plan daily routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries and optimize fuel consumption.
• Obtain signatures and confirm proof of delivery for all dispatched items.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and cargo area.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service during all delivery interactions.

Requirements

• Valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of the Sunderland area and surrounding routes.
• Physical fitness to load and unload packages, some of which may be heavy.
• Excellent time management and navigational skills.
