You will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of goods to customers across the local area, ensuring a high standard of service and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety compliance.
• Load and unload goods carefully and securely onto and from the delivery vehicle.
• Navigate efficiently to designated delivery locations using GPS or provided route plans.
• Obtain proof of delivery, collect payments if required, and maintain accurate delivery logs.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies during operation.
• Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions, addressing any queries professionally.

Requirements

• Valid UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of the Leicester area and surrounding regions.
• Good physical condition to handle loading and unloading duties.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
• Professional attitude and commitment to punctuality.
