About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivational Delivery Team Leader to guide their delivery operations based in Liverpool . This role combines hands-on delivery responsibilities with the crucial task of supervising and supporting a team of drivers, ensuring adherence to schedules, safety standards, and customer service expectations. Key Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and motivate a team of delivery drivers to achieve performance targets.
• Oversee daily delivery operations, ensuring routes are planned efficiently and executed on time.
• Conduct regular team meetings to discuss performance, safety updates, and operational goals.
• Monitor driver performance and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
• Ensure all company vehicles are maintained and operated safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Act as a point of escalation for delivery issues and customer complaints, providing timely resolutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a delivery role, with demonstrated leadership or supervisory capabilities.
• Strong understanding of delivery logistics and route planning within the Liverpool area.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
• A valid UK driving license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
