Deputy Director Platforms and Technology

Department for Transport are looking to appoint the Deputy Director of Platform and Technology. The department is going through a radical restructure in their Digital, Information, and Security Directorate to ensure they are prepared for the future challenges in building a more sustainable and in-house capability to ensure the Government's ambitions for a Modern Digital Government. This role will sit at the head of their Platforms Function, responsible for the delivery of their secure, robust and scalable technology foundations for the wider department.

This individual will bring together architecture, cloud, and cyber operations; shaping and delivering a clear and foundational technology strategy that is aligned with the department's priorities.

The role does require applicants to either already hold DV clearance or are eligible to go through the process.
