Deputy Manager - Dcs (Social and Healthcare Qualified)

Job Title: Deputy Manager - Children's Short Breaks Home (Social and Healthcare Qualified) - Permanent

Location: Lawrence Weston, Bristol Contract Type: Permanent

About the Role

We are excited to advertise this new position within our Short Breaks Children's Home for Disabled Children. We are looking for a person with a passion for supporting children with complex needs, and the leadership skills to support a well-established residential team to provide high quality care and support to children.

Each child is supported as an individual, with their needs and strengths considered by the staff team who tailor their support and care accordingly. The home aims to do this by creating a warm, fun, and caring home environment, ensuring children's voices, opinions, and feelings are heard and advocating for the children we care for.

This role will help develop your managerial skills and provide valuable experience working directly with, and building relationships with, vulnerable young people and children.

You will work within a multi-disciplinary service, working alongside social workers, Occupational Therapists, education provisions, parents, and carers to ensure the best service is offered for the children we care for.
